Description
The VWA Pride Cup is a one-day social volley event that promotes LGBTQIA+ inclusion and acceptance in the volleyball community. Volleyball WA recognises that excluding people from participating in sporting events and activities because of their gender identity may have significant implications for their health, wellbeing and involvement in community life. We are committed to supporting participation in our sport on the basis of the gender with which a person identifies. Volleyball WA would like to acknowledge the Perth Scorpions Volleyball Club for supporting this initiative and leading the way for LGBTQIA+ inclusion in volleyball.
