Teams are advised that the heat policy has been enacted.
The following measures will be enacted:

Immedately
1. Drink breaks at every change of ends - this is not classed as a timeout and players should drink and keep walking during the switch

In the next set
PAIRS - Two technical timeouts at combined point scores of 14 and 24.
Change of ends every 6 points

FOURS - Drink break sets 1 and 2 - when leading team reaches 5/9/14 points and in set 3 when the leading team reaches 4/8/12 points

Technical time out at change of ends in sets 1 and 2 when leading team reaches 9 points, and in set 3 when leading team reaches 6 points

From the 11am timeslot
Reduced scoring for all formats - 18/18/12

Hi all

Due to the extreme wind and weather we have closed the northern shade structure - the lower tents adjacent to the competition office have been opened up for schools to use.
Can you please ensure that your teams do not sit under the shade shelter for the remainder of the day.
