2026 Australian Beach Volleyball Schools Cup GCC (7/8BP)

A reminder to please check duty commitments for today. This is also listed on the run sheet on each court.

Many allocations are the loser of the previous match, with some winners also allocated on occasion. Some duties are also cross divisional so please check allocations carefully.

If your team has to forfeit please remember that you will still likely have a duty commitment after the game. Please inform the competition office of the forfeit and do not leave the beach immediately following the forfeit.

Please be advised that there have been some changes made to the draw this morning. As always, we have endeavoured to notify all impacted teams, however but incase further changes are required, we ask all teams in all divisions to refresh the app frequently to stay informed of the most current game and duty commitments.. Please do not rely on information from last night or early this morning as this may have changed.

We are urgently seeking volunteers for the Volleyball World Pro Tour Futures event on courts 1 and 2 today to assist with ball kid duties.
Games start on the hour from 9am until 4pm.
If any interested players or coaches can donate an hour of their time it would be appreciated. Come along and get involved in the international event between your Schools Cup matches!!
Come to the competition office if interested to participate!

Hi all

I hope that you are enjoying the first day of matches.

I am writing to you regarding the requirement in the regulations for every team to have a duty adult present for all games.

We have been made aware that some schools that have more teams than coaches are having difficulty meeting this requirement for all matches.

We acknowledge that this is challenging and want to assist teams to fulfil this commitment. Hence, we ask the following:
Schools endeavour to cover these games - reminder that the cover does not need to an approved coach, it can be a parent or supporter who is connected with your team.
If still encountering difficulty, we ask that schools prioritise teams in years 7 - 10 and allow teams in years 11 and 12 to operate independently. If need to do this, please notify the competition office or a yellow shirt referee delegate so that we can assist to support your teams for these games.

We hope that these measures will assist teams to support their players.

Please be reminded that the pairs matches are best of three format.. If a team wins the first two sets they DO NOT play the third set and the match is finished.

Reminder that all duty teams must be accompanied by an adult for all matches. This person does not need to be a qualified coach and can be a parent or supporter of the team but they MUST be present for all games.
Please ensure that all of your teams are covered for every duty.
